At SHRDHA HRD we truly believe in going beyond thought. This belief in ourselves has helped us excel and break through narrow, self-confining notions and provide that ‘extra bit’ to our clients. The training team at SHRADHA HRD has some small but highly significant success stories to its credit. Some of them are:

 1.      Communication skills: Voice Training & Accent Neutralization 

a.  Training people from Sikkim: A pilot batch was trained to work in International and Domestic call centers of repute. The students were typically from rural backgrounds with almost no communication skills; no prior work experience; most of them had never stepped out of their district, city or village.

All of them were place within 45 days of intensive training at an average salary of Rs.7,250 p.m.

This pilot is now being taken up as a State sponsored Employment generation scheme and in times to come shall help augment the supply lines into a contact center. Seeing the win-win nature of the situation more States are likely to follow suit.

b.  Training Nurses for UK for Fluency and Accent Neutralization: The nurses had a very heavy South Indian regional accent. The other bottleneck was their non-availability for continuous training, which tended to wash away all that they learnt in class. Unique training methodology and foundational approach to training helped them clear their communication skills interview. All the nurses were placed in the Princess Grace Hospital and Wellington hospitals through Healthcare Placements.

c.   Over 6000 executives already trained in Call Centers for US & UK processes. Training on first Australian process underway.

d.   Comprehensive data on various speech and accent nuances on over 18 dialects of India that helps in fine tuning the delivery mechanism to reach the desired level.

e.    Comprehensive study on the various accents in the US, UK, Australian and other parts of the world that help in improving the Listening and Comprehension skills as well as in improving the spoken English.

f.     Highly focused programs on improving Listening skills/ability and regulating rate of speech using a combination of skills and mind objectivity.

g.    Objective Linguistics Assessments tool: for complete and objective assessments of any voice sample vis-à-vis another voice sample (could be any accent in the world) on Pronunciation, Rate of Speech, Intonations, Loudness. Customized tests for Grammar, Listening and comprehension, typing speed are an integral part of the assessment tool.  An option of psychometric and other technical tests is also available.

2.      Management Development Programs: Attitudinal, Leadership etc.

a.   Specific training programs to help retain people for various dot com companies and the call center industry.

b.    C.A.R.E. program at Indian Airlines for improving the back room coordination to facilitate greater ‘On-time’ arrival and departure of flights.

c.     Highly focused Team leadership programs for contact centers as well as non-contact centers.

d.  Helping upgrade the lowest rung of government manpower (peons, office boys etc.) through attitudinal and new skill training to help improve their self-esteem and office culture.

e.   Helping improve the customer relations skills of high de-motivated governmental staff working in the same position for over 15-20 years (as personal secretaries).

f.    Highly motivating and transformational programs for individuals- Joy of Life and Eye-Opener series of workshops.

 SHRD Credentials for success in training programs

SHRD has demonstrated proficiency in  communication skills training through various projects some of which are

          Camp ImpactTM conducted for different organizations that include I-Gate GPO, Mphasis BPO, Wipro BPO, IBM Daksh, Progeon, Global Vantedge with high turn around rates for the selected manpower; Similar programs on Customer handling skills (including communication skills) have also been conducted for IT organizations that include Infosys, Keane Inc, Computer Science Corp.

         Project Genesis (Progeon & Infosys Foundation)- training of University Professors to impart a linguistics program- written and spoken communication skills- to their students in their respective colleges. The program, conducted for over 300 professors of Karnataka Universities and over 140 from Rajasthan Universities, has been an astounding success. This is an attempt to train the base level of candidates for BPO’s.

         Dept. of IT Chandigarh: Leading partner for CTOSS training program; also the assessing agency for the CTOSS test; Similar programs now being rolled out under the aegis of the Govt. of Haryana for select colleges

         Past data: SHRD has an over 90% success rate in the Camp ImpactTM program being rolled out for different BPO’s across the country. This model has opened up an alternate yet focused channel for raising the bar of excellence.
